About Tikkurila Lumi

An extremely white and high opacity acrylate paint for interior walls in living rooms, bedrooms and children's rooms. Lumi is ideal for plaster, concrete, brick and wooden surfaces, also for card finished gypsum board, chipboard and wood fibre board surfaces. It is Suitable for new and previously painted surfaces as well as for surfaces previously treated with alkyd paints.

Surface Preparation

New surfaces: Remove dirt and dust from the unpainted surfaces. Fill surfaces defects with a high-quality filler and sand smooth. Remove sanding dust and prime with Luja Universal Primer.

Previously painted surfaces: Wash down previously painted surfaces with Cleaning Agent and rinse with water. Sand glossy and painted surfaces matt to create a key. Fill cracks and holes with a suitable high-quality filler and sand smooth. Prime with Luja Universal Primer if required before applying the top coat.

Application and Thinning

Roller or spray. Edges can be painted by brush. For airless spray application, use a nozzle 0.017" - 0.021", thinning 0-5 % by volume
