About Rust-Oleum Heavy Duty Metal Primer 1060/1080
Rust-Oleum Heavy-Duty Orange or Grey Metal Primer 1060/1080 is based on a fish oil containing alkyd resin and rust-inhibiting pigments for use on new or blasted steel surfaces in all industrial application.
- A heavy duty primer for bare metal
- Can be applied to previously painted metal to provide extra corrosion resistance
Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations with ND14 Cleaner Degreaser or high pressure (steam). For optimum results remove rust, rust scale, mill scale and deteriorated coatings by abrasive. Sand previous coatings, which are in good condition to roughen the surface slightly.
The surface must be clean and dry during application.
