About Rust-Oleum Rust-O-Thane 9200

  • Long lasting satin finish

Surface Preparation

Remove grease, oil and all other surface contamination using ND14 Cleaner degreaser or high pressure (steam) cleaning.

Remove loose and flaking material by scraping, wire brushing or sanding.

Sand previous coatings that are in good condition to remove gloss and to roughen the surface slightly.

Test the compatibility with the previous coating.

The surface must be clean and dry during application.

Application and Thinning

Brush, undiluted. Use natural bristle, longhair brushes.

Roller, undiluted.Use a medium pile (polyamide, 8-12 mm). Apply slowly in even strokes.

Airless spray: undiluted.Pneumatic and electric airless equipment. Tip size: 0.013-0.015 inch. Fluid pressure: 200 bar.
