About Tikkurila Akvilac FD10 Matt Lacquer

Akvilac WF10 Lacquer is a fast drying, medium build, waterborne acrylate lacquer for use on interior wooden surfaces. 

Suitable for tables, chairs, doors, bookshelves and interior wood paneling.

Dries fast and is therefore suitable for fast productions lines.

A one-component lacquer that is very easy to use.

Can also be used as a protective lacquer coating to protect stained surfaces and Tikkurila Fontefire WF Intumescent Fire Retardant lacquer. 

Used together with Fontefire, WF10 Clear provides B-s1, d0 classification according to EN 13501- 1:2007+A1:2009.

Chemical-resistant.

Extends the usage area of fire-retardant lacquer by providing resistance to most household chemicals.

Levels evenly and smoothly on top of fire-retardant lacquer Fontefire WF Clear. 

Matt finish.

Applied by spray application.

Akvilac Lacquer is not recommended for use on floors, but for this, you can use Tikkurila Parquet Floor Lacquer.

Surface preparation

For best results ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, oil, wax, loose material and surface contamination.

Remove dust, loose particles and other impurities from the surface. 

Sand down and remove all sanding.

Application conditions

The moisture content of wood has to be below 20%.

During application and drying, air temperature, substrate and paint must be over +18°C and relative humidity of the air below 70%.

Good ventilation is required to ensure optimal result.

Product can be dried with or without oven.

Stir the lacquer carefully before use.
