HSP GP1 Interior and Exterior Coating

Preparation

Surface must be clean and free from dirt, wax, grease and loose material. Degrease aluminium and galvanised surface and roughen with abrasive paper. Ensure that gloss surfaces and plastics are thoroughly rubbed down with abrasive pad or paper before painting.

Application

Apply by brush,roller or spray. When spraying, thin with up to 10% white spirit. Apply one or two coats according to the condition of the substrate and colour change. Clean brushes etc. with white spirit immediately after use.

Coverage

Approximately8-10m2Actual spreading rate depends on texture, porosity etc. of the substrate.

Drying Times

Touch dry –1 hour.

Recoatable after 24hours.

Low temperature and high humidity will make drying times longer.

GP1 achieves maximum hardness and adhesion after 5 to 7 days.

Health and Safety

Non flammable. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash with soap and water. If spraying, do not breathe spray, wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the label on the tin. Keep out of reach of children.

Environmental

Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of paint.
