Polyvine Multisurface Lacquer (formerly Crystal Clear)
This high quality cross linked lacquer dries to a hard, crystal clear satin or high gloss film, with extremely good sanding properties and is specially formulated to bond to a wide range of surfaces.
It has extremely good sanding properties and is specially formulated to bond to a wide range of surfaces. It can also be used as a multi-surface primer and is relied upon by professional and amateur decorators for its durability and ease of use.
Polyvine’s Multi-Surface Lacquer is available in high gloss for a shiny finish, satin for depth and a soft sheen, or dead flat for a completely shine-free surface.

About Polyvine Multisurface Lacquer
An ultra hard, high quality, cross linked acrylic, sandable coating with a gloss/satin finish.
This coating dries to a crystal clear film with extremely good sanding properties allowing a very high quality of finish to be obtained.
Polyvine Lacquer is specially formulated to bond to a wide range of surfaces.

Suitable for both Interior and Exterior use, providing a very hard and durable finish.
1-2 hour drying time.
Water resistant, stain resistant and heat resistant.
Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface to be coated is clean and free from grease, wax or polish
Application
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
Timber - remove oils/resins from oily hardwoods and resinous softwoods. Sand to a smooth finish and remove all dust.
Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake. Use a good quality synthetic varnish brush and apply evenly using light brush strokes. Apply the first coat and allow to dry. To prime porous surfaces, dilute with 10% water.
Apply one or two further coats. caution always apply to a test area before starting work.
Caution
Do not apply over uncured oil based paint. When applied over emulsion/latex paint, it is possible that the lacquer can draw certain stains through the paint, which would not otherwise be visible.
Test finish for adhesion. Do not apply over uncured oils.
Do not use on uncoated exterior timber
Coverage
Approx. 15-20 sq. m per litre. 160-215 sq. ft per US qt.
Clean Up
Any equipment used can be cleaned using soap and water before the coating dries. Wipe any excess off surfaces with a damp cloth. Any dried deposits will need a paint stripper to remove them.
