About Teknos Anti Stain Aqua Primer 2901

Teknos Anti Stain Aqua Primer 2901 is an industrial isolating spray primer.

This specialist waterborne primer inhibits hardwood tannins and knot staining.

Reduces surface discoloration caused by tannins in hardwood.

It is a highly versatile, robust and easy to use hardwood primer designed for new wood for exterior use, such as exterior windows, doors, shutters, conservatories or claddings.

Pre-treatment

The wood surface must be clean and free from any form of wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should be 13% and should never exceed 15%. 

All softwood and non-durable hardwood for exterior use should either be vacuum impregnated (only softwood) or it can be treated with a wood preservative. 

Application

Can be applied by airmix (aircoat) or airless by hand. Also a automatic spraying equipment. Stir the product well before applying. 

Application Conditions

This product upon delivery is ready for use. Stir the product well before applying to any surface. 

Film Thickness: 125-200 um wet

Optimum temperature for products and surroundings: 18-22 degrees. 

Optimum relative air humidity: Approx 50%

System Treatment

All primed parts must always be protected by a topcoat treatment before they are able to be exposed to the weather. 

Drying Times

The main drying time for this particular product is 2-3 hours depending on temperature. 

Cleaning

The equipment must be cleaned with water.
