Bedec Barn Paint - Matt, Satin or Semi-Gloss Finish
Bedec Barn Paint is ideal for rough sawn wooden cladding, fence panels, frames, gates, sheds stables and farm buildings.
Its' flexible and durable water based formula does not flake or crack
Apply to new or previous painted surfaces, including tanalised timber and weathered bitumen.
Also excellent adhesion to galvanized steel, concrete and hard plastics.
Available in any Opaque colour in Matt, Satin and Gloss finishes.
A selection of semi-transparent woodstain colours are available (these are semi-gloss finish).

About Bedec Barn Paint
Bedec Barn Paint is tough, weather resistant and durable coating with excellent colour retention
Perfect for the protection of rough sawn timber components and buildings such as fences, gates, stables blocks, farm buildings and sheds.
It can be applied to new or previously painted timber surfaces, including those coated with weathered creosote, bitumen, tar or varnish.
The waterbased formula of Bedec Barn Paint s flexible and and will not flake or crack.
Bedec Barn Paint is a high adhesion coating and this makes is suitable also for coating weathered galvanising, concrete, brick and block work and hard plastics
Preparation and Application
Ensure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from any loose material that could affect the adhesion of the coating.
Remove any fungal growth with anti-mould solution.
Do not apply in damp and cold conditions or where there is a risk of condensation, rain or fog during the drying process.
Repair any surface defects, crack and holes with a good quality filler formulated for exterior use.
Grey and denatured timber on the surface must be removed to reveal clean fresh wood.
Pressure treated or tanalised timber should be allowed to weather for 6 month prior to coating.

Bedec Barn Paint can be applied by brush , roller of spray.
When coating new and porous surfaces is it recommended to thin the first coat of Barn Paint with up to 30% clean water to act as a primer followed with two full coats thereafter.
