About Tikkurila Super White Matt Emulsion

Tikkurila Super White is a High Opacity Matt Emulsion for walls and ceilings.
It has excellent application properties, is non dripping and has good adhesion properties

The paint finish will resist gentle washing

It is ideal for painting drywall, cement and lime plasters and primed small elements of wood and metal after priming with a suitable primer. The paint can be used for decorative painting of concrete..

Application Conditions;

All painted surfaces must be dry, air temperature from +5 ° C to +25 ° C, and relative air humidity below 80%. 

Preparation;

Fresh mineral plasters can be painted after a minimum of 4 weeks of drying.

Unpainted surfaces covered with filler, plaster, concrete and chipboard, felt and gypsum boards: 

Clean the surface of dust, dirt and loose materials. 
Repair and surface defects with a good quality interior filler. 
Prime with Tikkurila Super White diluted with 10% water.

Surfaces painted with dispersion, alkyd and oil paints; 

Before painting the surface should be thoroughly washed and degreased. 
Lightly abrade glossy surfaces with medium-grain abrasive paper. 
Rinse thoroughly with water, dry.

On pre-painted surfaces, a small trial coat should be made to check adhesion.

Thinning; 

Thinning If necessary, up to 10% with water.

Application; 

Tikkurila Super White can be applied by brush, roller or by spray.

Coverage Rates;

Rough surfaces 8m2 / litre 
Smooth surfaces 12m2 / litre
The actual coverage rate will depend upon the absorbency and texture of the surface, application method and the colour.

Drying times at 23°C and 50% relative humidity;

Touch Dry; 1 hour. 
Recoat time; minimum 3 hours. 
If painting at a lower temperature or in conditions of increased humidity, the drying time will be longer.

Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after finishing .
