Anti-Condensation Coating 5090 is a water absorbing coating It contains a non-leaching fungicide to prevent mould growth. It is formulated for use on ceilings and the upper parts of walls to prevent condensation and dripping.
1 litre of this product will, after drying, absorb at least 400 grams of water.

Application to dam surfaces
Ideal for high humidity areas (breweries, washrooms, shower rooms and manufacturing plants)
New concrete or brick surfaces should cure and dry for at least 30 days prior to application of the coating. Repair surface defects of (coated) concrete or brick surfaces. Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations using ND14 Cleaner Degreaser or high pressure (steam) cleaning. Scrape and wire brush carefully to remove deteriorated coatings. Sand previous coatings which are in good condition to remove gloss and to roughen the surface to create a key.
The surface may be slightly damp during application.
Application and Thinning
Brush/Roller: Up to 5 vol. % water.
Use a distemper brush and/or a medium pile, polyamide roller.
For textured surfaces use a long pile roller
Air-atomised spray: Not recommended.
Airless spray: If required up to 5 vol. % water.
Pneumatic and electric airless equipment.
Tip size: 0.018-0.024 inch (use reverse tips).
Fluid pressure: 130 - 200 bar.
Check wet film thickness, avoid excessive film thickness.
