About Tikkurila Taika Pearlescent Glaze

Taika Pearl Glaze is a low odour water based glaze that creates stunning pearlescent effects. It can be used to create delicate shimmering walls and luxurious glowing furniture. Taika works best on surfaces whose texture is emphasised by lighting changes.

Taika glaze is available in Gold and Silver base. The gold base creates warm, exotic hues and the silver base creates bright, elegant colours. 

Taika pearl glaze can be applied over any of Tikkurila’s water based paints for wood and interior walls (e.g. Feelings Interior Paint, Optiva Wall Paint ,Feelings and Helmi Furniture Paint). 

Because the glaze is translucent, the final result is always affected by the colour of the base paint.

For the perfect pearlescent finish, we recommend tinting your base paint to match the colour of the glaze.
