Product Info

RUST-OLEUM CombiColor Aerosols Wrought Iron 7300 are developed for decoration and protection of metal surfaces. It contains rust-inhibitive pigments for extra corrosion protection, is fast drying and creates an attractive wrought iron appearance. It contains rust-inhibitive pigments and is suitable for all types of bare, manually de-rusted metalwork such as decorative metalwork, industrial equipment and building components.

Surface Preparation
Remove oil, grease and all other surface contamination with ND14 Cleaner Degreaser or high pressure (steam) cleaning. Remove rust scale, loose mill scale, loose rust and loose coatings by scraping and wire brushing, light blast cleaning or sanding.
Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly.
The surface must be clean and dry during application.
Galvanised, Zinc and Aluminium surfaces need to be primed with Combi Adhesion Primer 3302.

Application and Thinning
Shake vigorously for at least one minute after the rattle of mixing ball is heard. Shake frequently during use.
Hold the can approx. 25 cm from surface and use a back and forth motion keeping can parallel with work piece.
Ensure that can is in motion when spray button is pressed to avoid runs and sags.
Apply several thin layers at a few minutes interval to achieve adequate coating thickness.
After use turn can upside down and press spray button for 2 - 3 seconds to clean valve.
