Description

Rust-Oleum (Anglo) Epoxy Floor Paint

Rust-Oleum Anglo Epoxy Floor Paint combines incredible hardness and bonding power to provide a heavy duty finish that lasts and lasts. Ideal for concrete floors in warehouses, factories and garages.

  • Immensely tough
  • Fast Curing
  • Virtually odour free
  • Chemical Resistant
  • Easy to clean
  • Non-Flammable

Surface Preparation

The concrete should be at least four weeks old, completely dry and free of surface laitance (a weak dusty layer on concrete), contaminants and any previous coatings.

All traces of grease should be removed with ND14 Cleaner Degreaser and the area thoroughly washed off and allowed to dry.

Very smooth concrete, or concrete with surface laitance, should be etched to ensure adequate adhesion.

Painted surfaces

Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly abraded by sanding or wire brushing (scarifying machine) to improve adhesion and to remove any weak or loose material. A trial area is advisable to test adhesion to and compatibility with previous coatings.

Application and Thinning

Apply by simulated sheepskin roller, working well into the surface of the concrete. Do not exceed the maximum coverage of 28m2 per 4 litre pack, per coat. The product will darken slightly as curing commences and it should not be over rolled.
