Tikkurila Unica Super
Quick drying urethane alkyd lacquer containing
Unica Super is suitable for application on interior and exterior wooden surfaces. Available in clear or tinted to semi-transparent colours.

A quick-drying highly durable urethane alkyd lacquer for use on interior and exterior wooden surfaces such as windows, doors, floors, and above waterline on boats. Available in colourless and many other attractive colours.
Unica Super Lacquer can also be applied to surfaces previously coated with alkyd or acid catalysed lacquers.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, oil, wax, loose material and surface contamination. Completely remove existing coatings that are in poor condition. Use Tikkurila products for mould removal and cleaning and good quality wood filler for filling cracks, joints, nail holes, blemishes, etc.
Ensure that all glossy and filled surfaces are thoroughly sanded.
Always prime bare exterior wooden surfaces with Valtti Base prior to the application of Unica Super Lacquer.
Application and Thinning
Brush or spray.
For airless spray: use a 0.009” – 0.013” (0.230 – 0.330mm) spray tip, and thin by up to 40% with white spirit.
Thinning: by up to 40% with white spirit.
All surfaces to be painted must be dry, the moisture content of the wood below 20%, the temperature of the air at least +5OC, and the relative humidity of the air below 80%.
