The Pegaprim Isofix primer by RustOleum Mathys is a high performance, ultra sealing and fast drying universal adhesion primer.
Based on solvent borne shellac-resins, it has excellent adhesion to copper, bronze, stainless steel and on smooth hard surfaces old paints, masonry, plaster and laminates.
The Pegaprim Isofix also has exceptional sealing and masking properties to cover stained surfaces. Effectively mask stains such as nicotine, soot, water stains and knots and mask odours.

- Re-coatable with most water and solvent borne decorative paints.
- Can be applied at freezing temperatures.
The substrate should be cleaned and degreased and dry and stable.
Remove any surface contamination a thoroughly as possible.
Then sand lightly to create a key.
Strongly solvent borne topcoats must be tested for their tolerance first (e.g. polyurethane, epoxy finishes).
Application and Thinning
Brush: Apply undiluted.
Roller: Apply undiluted.
Air-atomised spray: Dilute with ± 2% denaturised alcohol.
Airless spray: Nozzle: 0.015 inch / Pressure: 150 - 200 bars
