About Sikkens Cetol WF 960 Translucent Semi-Matt Mid & Topcoat

A highly durable translucent water-borne, Semi-Matt Midcoat and Topcoat with exceptional clarity and colour.

Application

Air assisted airless spray.  

Coverage and film weight

150 - 300 ml/m², depending on applied wet film thickness per coat without overspray

Wet film thickness: 2 x 150 µm or 1 x 150 up to maximum of 300 µm

We recommend applying two layers of each colour shade. 

Drying times at 23°C / 50% RH.

Dust dry approx, 60 minutes  

Sandable approx, 4 hours  

Recoatable approx, 4 - 6 hours  

The drying process of the coating depends on the applied film thickness and may be delayed when using timber with a high extractive contents or drying in

damp/cold conditions. During the drying process, always ensure for adequate temperature and ventilation. If the drying conditions are not met, damages

within the coating cannot be excluded.

Cleaning

Clean equipment immediately after use with clean cold water followed by a solution of Sikkens ST 830 and fresh lukewarm water.

Rinse with clean fresh water to remove all traces of contamination.

Note: Timbers which contain extractives i.e Oak, Larch or tropical woods can cause discolouring - these can appear after weathering.  Please call us for advice.
