Akzo Nobel Aqua Surf 099 Spray Applied Waterbased Primer / Edge sealer

White or coloured high build, air-drying primer edge sealer for use on MDF, timber etc. Provides an excellent base for cellulose, pre-catalysed, acid catalysed finishes. It has excellent build, grain filling and hiding power. It is also very easy to sand. It provides an alternative to traditional high VOC solvent-based basecoat sealers and primers.

Application and Thinning

Method of application:

Airless or conventional spray. Thin with water as required. To reduce grain raising, apply a dry coat at low pressure, lightly de nib and follow with a full coat.

Note - excess thinning will raise the grain and introduce high levels of moisture into the surface.
