About Tikkurila Pirtti Wood Stain

Pirtti is a very high-quality waterborne wood stain for furniture, wooden floors, ceilings, doors and wooden surfaces.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, oil, wax, rust, loose material and surface contamination. Use Tikkurila cleaning agents and mould removal products for best results and a good quality filler for filling cracks, nail holes, blemishes and levelling of uneven surfaces. The stain effect will vary depending on the porosity, hardness and color of the wood and the colour will also depend on the thickness of stain film applied.

Please note that coating the surface should be carried out without interruption, to avoid the difference in shades.

A lighter shade is achieved by diluting the product with water.

If a darker shade is desired, apply 2, 3 layers.
